Like an EKG for your steam trap. Cycle counting reads every discharge event to measure condensate loading, activity levels, and behavioral patterns over time. Where leak detection is a spot check, cycle counting is the calculus, revealing how trap behavior shifts day to day and month over month, catching degradation long before complete failure.

Temperature monitoring

Water hammer is intermittent, unpredictable, and dangerous. Traditional detection is "someone heard a bang" or "something broke." SteamIQ's 3-axis accelerometer runs continuously, catching the shock signature of condensate impacts and alerting immediately. No other steam trap monitor on the market detects water hammer.
